Adjunct Professor teaching Intermediate Film. An intermediate level 16mm film production class designed to introduce students to the technical, conceptual, and procedural skills necessary to successfully complete a short sync-sound film.

Fall 2006
Adjunct Professor teaching Introduction to Media Production. Designed to introduce students to the techniques of media production by familiarizing students with the basic operations of audio recording equipment, single-camera video production equipment (camcorders and editing units)and the television studio. Each student will gain experience in the pre-production (planning, writing, scheduling, casting), production (shooting, recording), and post-production (editing, audio sweetening) of various single-camera genres.

Adjunct Professor teaching Portable Video Production. The course is designed to provide students with instruction in the technical concepts and practical applications in the craft of field video production. These include the skills and principles needed in the pre-production, production and post-production of film-style works. Special attention is given to production planning and scriptwriting, camera operation, casting, visual aesthetics, audio, lighting, graphics, and editing, both linear and non-linear.

Final 30 minute commercial nominated for a Pacific Southwest Emmy for documentary videography and other categories.
Jewish Family Services
Summer 2003
Producer and Director for Intergenerational Documentary Video project
funded by the County of San Diego. Project interviews Seniors involved
with Jewish Family Services and teenagers from Oaks and Acorns
organization in a feature film about connecting these two age groups.

Assistant Story Editor and Editor on the It
Factor for Zanzibar Productions, aired on Bravo
Channel. A 12 part documentary series, the It Factor
follows NYC actors trying to make it in “The
Business”.
Independent Television News Limited, BBC
April 2001
Director of Photography for Independent Television
News Limited aired on the BBC. This documentary
investigates the world’s low income housing problems
focusing on low income housing in the 5 burrows of
NYC. The Film is also exhibited at the 2001 United
Nations Conference on world housing.

In house Producer and Director of
Photography for the Public Relations Department of
Memorial Sloan Kettering. Producing 3 short films for
internal exhibition and fund raising on Public Art
Works and the artists, Barbara Fishman Foundation, and
a Vermont Art Colony.

Publishing. My responsibilities are deadline oriented
production of visual stories for the client.
Filmography- Produced, Directed and Edited
·How They Wear Deceit 15 minute, 16 mm color
narrative. A mismatched couple living together in a
basement apartment inflicts levels of psychological
games Pinteresque–ly onto each other. Currently
accepted at international/national film festivals.
·Home Movie 4 minute, 16mm black and white narrative.
Set in 1972, a father tries to take a family portrait
on moving day and is met with a discordant family
unit.
·Los Platos 9 minute, 16 mm black and white
documentary. Exposing the wisdom of the professional
wait staff at the Palm Court restaurant in the Plaza
Hotel, NY, the documentary explores the socioeconomic
classes using the journey of a plate in contact with
the restaurant’s stratum.
·Mirror 3 minute, 16mm black and white narrative. A
woman staying overtime at her office cubicle
mysteriously turns into a man and tries out how it
feels to talk on the phone with your feet on the desk
and other male quirks.
